I am wondering if internet dating really works, and can a guy find a worth while woman to spend time with.
A little about myself.
I am a professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree. I've worked for a company that made missiles for the Navy, for which I had a security clearance designation as "secret". I've also worked in the automotive field where I designed brake components sold to the major automakers like GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, etc. I'm currently between jobs due to a layoff for downsizing.
I enjoy camping with my kids, remodeling my home, radio controlled cars and trucks, movies (DVDs) And computers to name a few things. With regard to computers, I've never bought one off the shelf. I've always assembled my own from scratch. I guess some would call me a geek, but I can tell you I partied hard while in college.
I also have a 89' Pontiac GTA in the garage that I'm working on. If you're not familiar with a GTA, it's basically a TransAm with all the options including leather seats. I just wish I could find time to work on it. I'm also into collecting firearms. I've got several pistols and rifles that I keep safely locked away in a safe. I belong to a gun club where we do competitive shooting. I guess I would consider myself a conservative because I'm a firm believer in the second amendment to the constitution (right to bare arms). On the other hand I'm pro choice when it comes to abortion rights.
