I am 56 years young. Most people say I am pretty. I have blue eyes, blonde to light brown (only my hairdresser knows for sure) short naturally curly hair. I am 5' 6" tall. I wear a size 16 so am a larger woman, but I am well proportioned. I retired after 30 years as a registered nurse so to fill my time I care for my 25 month old grandson and nanny two other children Mon. thru Thur. . I love children and play hard. They keep me young and I get to laugh a lot. I do not miss the stress of being a nurse. I have other passive income so live a comfortable but not excessive lifestyle. I am a non-smoker, and a light drinker.
I like walks, gardening, fixing up my home, travel, romantic dinners out, holding hands, riding bike, and doing some fishing. I would love to start dancing again—it’s been a long time. In the summer I like to be outside as much as possible. Concerts in the park are great. In the winter a good movie cuddled up on the couch in front of the fireplace or a nice dip in my hot tub. I also build snowmen and go sledding with kids but I am not a skier.
Most important is my attitude. I love life. I like myself. I am a very happy person overall.
I believe love is not a feeling as much as it is an action. I love to quote M. Scott Peck’s definition of love—“Love is the willingness to extend oneself for ones own and another’s spiritual growth”.
I am looking for someone who is intelligent, emotionally available, open minded, able to be a good friend and into spirituality--that does not mean religion.
