Never married, but have 26 yr old son. I am loving and kind and very loyal to those that I care about. My friends and family are my life. I enjoy having a good time, but don't need or want to be on the go all the time, like that downtime with someone special. Watching movies or romantic walks. I am a small town gal who can still appreciate the finer things in life. I am easy to please, but think that communication, honesty, compassion, the ability to make compromises and be able to agree to disagree is important in a relationship. If you can't do those things, it's not a relationship, it's a dictatorship on one side or the other. I am respectful of other's, care about what they care about, but not to the extent of loosing myself in the process.
I have worked hard on making myself a better person, but feel that it would be nice to have someone there by my side that wants to make the rest of the journey with me. That wants to be supportive while at the same time getting support in return. Someone who lights up the room just because he is in it and therefore lights up my life, just because he is in it. Wanting and finding seem to be two different things. I am somewhat fussy, I think I have earned that right to be. I know what I am looking for and will go it alone rather than settle for anything less. I would hope to find that same quality in someone else, someone not willing to settle for second best (to them anyway).
I am honest and try to be straight forward and to the point, doesn't always work, but that is what I strive for, but I am also shy in the beginning until I warm up to someone. I also think a sense of humor is a must. I love to laugh and will laugh at almost anything. My sense of humor runs the gambit, I have no one style, love almost all of it as long as it doesn't hurt someone.
