Describe myself? Hard question to answer. I feel I'm a confident, happy person who feels good about her life. I went through some difficult times (didn't we all?) but have come thru them carrying little baggage. I feel my past has made me stronger and more emotionally attractive than I was even 10 years ago. I am the very proud mother of a 25 year old who is happily married, gainfully employed, and living in another state. I also have two wonderful step adults, also living in other states. I am not interested in dating a man with children under 18. I think small kids are great, but don't want them in my day to day life.
My interests include travel (domestic and foreign) and I enjoy short jaunts as well as longer journeys! I feel the travel should be about the journey and not the destination. I am easy going and get along with most people. I am more comfortable in a pair of capri's or jeans than a little black get-up, but look good in either.
I also enjoy theater, music, dancing, museums, movies, comedy clubs and dueling piano bars, art fairs, learning about other cultures, good food and wine, board and card games, family and friends, and laughter. I enjoy quiet times at home just as much as jetting off to NYC for the weekend to see a great Broadway show.
The man I would most like to meet is looking to find a good friend. If our relationship goes on from there, all the better. I am not looking to meet someone and immediately start cuddling and kissing. I'm an affectionate person, but I have respect for myself and others.
