I have been in NC a few years, having moved from LA (CITY NOT STATE). I'm a financial professional and have enjoyed meeting people of similar ilk. While I was reserved at first, NC has proven to be a great place to live and meet people from pretty well everywhere. Love the climate as well, albeit, the only thing I miss is skating outdoors, but one can always "visit winter. I enjoy varied interests in the arts, other cultures and languages. Probably watch A&E and the history channel on a 10:1 ratio to sports center. I can probably name more of the American in Paris painters, than I can the starting line up to the Carolina Panthers. Nontheless I would rather participate in sports, not watch them. I've been blessed with the opportunity to have lived, worked and studied on several continents which helps broaden one's perspectives. Travel has also lent me an appreciation for food & wine. I am fairly adroit around the kitchen and enjoy visiting various wine regions. I am a dog Dad of a bouncing (well maybe not too much bouncing) 71# Basset Hound, but truly love all animals. I've been involved with various rescue and animal rights groups over the years. I would love to meet someone who shares similar interests and passions.
