I am a 47 year old, single dad of a high school age young man who is a good kid. I have been divorced since 2002 and I have been slow to think about "getting involved" in a new relationship. But I do miss having a close friend to share life with, so now it is time for me to meet people and see about that.
I love photography- especially nature scenes and things like that. I also love to take pictures of people in natural, interesting scenes of normal life and life's situations. I like to hike and 4-wheel in the desert and explore new places. I love learning new languages and traveling to foreign countries. I am a natural inventor and builder of devices (a geek of sorts). I work with lasers and electronics with the most high tech geeky people on earth (but I am cool, not like them- right)..so what if we all know what Multi-core processors, nanobots and nano-technology are all about? I can't help that. I've got to make a living, right?
So the kind of friend I am looking for might appreciate a few of the things I have mentioned and enjoy discussing the finer points of life and maybe even politics once in a while...stuff like that, plus a love of life and all that goes with that is a good thing too.
