Well where do I begin....
I graduated from ISU (MIS) In 05' and have been living in DSM ever since. At first I hated DSM, but its growing on me...new restaurants, bars, & less assholish people (it's a word damnit!) I really wanted to go back to school this fall to work on my MBA, but for some reason I am reallllllyyyyy good at procrastinating and taking my GMAT's now would equate to being told I'm mentally handicapped and I would be better at cutting lawns with scissors than going back to school. (it's harsh I know)
I am extremely active and hate to be inside on a freakishly awesome day...because Iowa weather sucks. I have been training for my first triathlon this June and will probably be lapped at Grays Lake by some 60 y/o woman, but what the hell, I'm doing it for a good cause.
***Update*** I finished the Hy-Vee Triathlon!!! Right now I'm on my 6th Triathlon this year and am going to be competing in a Trail Run (50 mile) On Sept. 21 and getting ready for my first marathon in Houston in January.
When I'm not in the mood for spending my life outside, I'm in watching Food Network (good eats because Elton is the shit!, Throwdown, Iron Chef), CSI LV & MIA not damn NY, Discovery Channel (geek at heart) And have really gotten into the planet earth series, and adult swim (family guy, futurama, AQUA TEEN)
Right now I am ironing out what path I want to take in the everso exciting business world. I currently work for a startup company from within a larger company (i know it's confusing) As a Programmer Analyst II. So basically, I am the link between the SBU & IT teams. That means I have good people skills *WINK WINK*
I am also a co-ed cheerleader/coach....yes you can laugh and make all the gay jokes you need to
