I am a tall, creative woman who is spontaneous and easy going. I enjoy people of all ages and love animals and nature.
I would love to meet a very TALL man who is also easygoing and hope he is funny since I like to laugh and am not easily upset or bothered. I like to give people freedom to be themselves and understand it isn't up to me to change anyone. I believe the best relationships are between people that compliment one another, not complete each other.
I hope the man I meet is creative in some capacity since I am an artist and love drawing and painting, woodworking, throwing clay and quilting and other needle arts. It would be nice if he can at least appreciate my efforts!
The garden is a place I will be found when I have time to relax, though more often I am found happily working there. There aren't many garden tasks I consider to be real work, anyway. Even pulling a few weeds gives me a chance to see things close up and personally.
I tend to look at the natural world in a unique and childlike way--often picking small objects up for a closer look to really see what they are all about. I may show you a rock or a leaf as if I have found a nugget of gold, and hope you might look and even understand my enthusiasm some of the time!
At the beach I tend to zigzag from stone to feather, driftwood to sea glass, often collecting pockets full of treasures and usually walking much further than I may have intended!
I love the redwood forests and think California has a great many other wonderful habitats to explore, too.
I love going for rides and know there are many beautiful destinations within just a short distance of the area. I have no need for plans, just hop in the car or on the bike and go....... there isn't a bad day or place when one is with the right person!
I am enamored with the stars and moon and like to go for a drive at night sometimes to get out of the city for better viewing.
I was married almost my entire adult life---first for eight years and then later for about twenty years. The second marriage was quite empty for a long time and I am relieved to be on the way to finalizing my divorce.
I have three grown daughters and three young grandkids who live nearby and am a regular and enthusiastic part of their lives, though I also am sure to take the time I need to rediscover myself as an individual.
I take some time each day to relax and rest my back which I injured years ago and take this opportunity to enjoy company, listen to music, or just decide what to do next! I hope you might be the man who will enjoy life with me and teach me something new, too!
