What am I looking for? and Who am I? well this is always the hard part, describing ones self without sounding egotistical or illiterate........ At this time in life I would have never pictured myself to be single......of course we really never know what the future holds......still we like to think we have control of our destiny............(a false sense of security)... yet life has been good and there are very few things I would change.......however, one of those things is not having someone to share life's adventures with, both the good times and the not so good times........if you stop and think about most activities you enjoy, aren't they more rewarding when shared with someone special? Having said that, I guess it's time to answer the questions originally posed......simply put I am looking for someone to complete who I am.....someone who accepts me the way I am and understands that you never change anyone......and no matter how hard we try to avoid disappointment, that special someone is going to disappoint us occasionally.....so what am I looking for........observe a married couple of 50+ yrs and watch the tinkle in the eyes, the gentle touches and the way they still hold hands when they are walking in the park or the mall......and most of all they still laugh together with gratitude for each new day they have to share...........that's what I am looking for......how about you?
