I've kissed a few frogs in my time but have had only great relationships...nothing in the past year as I've been recovering from hip and then foot surgery. I'm getting back my health and ready to dance  after 5 months of recovery. My son lives next door and has great friends who love their "Ma Bell"and have kept me from being alone during this time. (we are in Fantasy football and I'm third...haha) As much as I love the 'boys', I need conversations and friendships with people my own age. I'll never be ready to truly grow up and don't really look my age but it's creeping up slowly but surely....damn. I'm not sure what I'm looking for in a companion at this point but am willing to try and find out. I scuba dive, travel, have a dog and cat and lots of plants and a mostly stocked bar in my house in the N. Valley!! I'm used to doing things myself but it would sure be nice to have a companion by my side as I get older. I give what I receive and I think I would be open to having someone special in my life again. I grew up as an AF brat who is now a retired nurse. I was married once for 9 years early on and had a long relationship for 15 years which ended when he died a few years ago.....nothing since. I probably wouldn't do well with a man who thinks he's getting old and acts accordingly as I do seem to get along with people younger but am sure willing to meet all types. I try and live a healthy life with eating well and exercising but am no means a fanatic......pizza makes me crazy, with wine to compliment. If this is of interest, say hello!!!!!
