Hi,
I moved from the Northwest to the Southwest about six months ago to attend grad school at UNM and I am interested in meeting somebody for a friendship and possible long term relationship/commitment. I am adjusting to this new and stunning landscape and I want to meet someone who likes to be outdoors, take road trips, or just explore the area with me.
I am not a Christian nor do I claim any one belief system. My "religion" is educating myself to be a better person and treat people with respect and kindness, and contribute toward restoring balance in this world (which does NOT translate to vegetarian or wears patchouli). As for politics, I am registered as an independent and do not side with one party or the other.
I like to laugh and sometimes be silly. I can be irreverent at times, and at other times I can be quiet and introspective. I haven't had a lot of people to mirror me in my life, but my friends tell me that I am friendly, funny, kind, and interesting. I can tell you that I have a good heart, am genuinely interested in people, and like to extend kindness.
I want to travel abroad someday. Africa has always "spoken" to me in that regard. When I think of my future, I imagine having some land where I can grow food and flowers, and raise animals. I also think of having a good man to hold and love (and lots of it), and hope to share my life with him.
