I have been a workaholic; trying to convert. Due to the death of my wife I realize how short life can be. I hope to find someone that can be a companion and take me through the rest of life in a different direction. I am a Senior Project Manager for a fire protection installation and service company. I am passionate about my work, which has been a lifelong career. Now I have learned that life is too short. I plan to do the things in life that I passed by. I am looking for a lady to do that with me. I am a bit shy in this endeavor of searching for a new lifelong companion. I know that many of our interests may not match and I do not believe in trying to change a person. A person can change themselves if they want to, which is fine. Communication, honesty and compromise are the path to a good relationship. I strongly believe in honesty, commitment, honor and truth. i was married for over 25 years. I am a casual dress type. My wife was my best friend through thick and thin. I have two children, 20 and 24. Both are looking to leave the nest. I am a dog lover the latest is a rescue. I like to ride motorcycle and have recently gone back to riding after 25 years. Although I am not a biker nut, there are many more things to do and see. I like historical places, day trips and am open for suggestions. I truly am looking for my next long term relationship. Sorry ladies that I do not dance; never got the hang of it. From my very, very limited experience with this form of attempted dating I realize that a death is not like divorce. Death is forever divorce is not ever 100% committed. It takes time and effort for folks to make that new connection.
Being old fashioned I prefer to talk on the phone or meet and talk in person. In cyberspace, you can’t hear the inflections in a voice or see the look in person’s eyes and feel the chemistry.
