If I'm paying attention, I'm good at detecting lies . . . which mostly don't bother me; I'm here for the entertainment value, not absolute truth.
I have two dogs, whom I regularly blame for everything (they enjoy this). I don't call them my children or anything like that since that makes my skin crawl. If dogs are a reflection of the owner I: run towards attention, like sleeping a lot, always want to see what's over there, wiggle my butt when happy, look innocent while being devious, believe licking people (especially on the face) signifies approval, am ready to go anywhere, believe people are good until they prove themselves otherwise, have great looking ears and want to eat a cat.
