To start off with, I am single and moved back to Oregon last year. I spent fourteen years in Texas and as the saying goes,"I left my X in Texas."
Starting my life over, I can't wait to get back to the things I used to love, well..... Lets just say that I love life under the sea, and flying high above.I enjoy the good life, fine wines and dinners. I miss a black tie affair, here and there. Would love to go to concerts and plays at the Hult Center or local theaters.
I am a Southern California Gal, a Valley & Beach Girl in fact. I miss the beaches, but I don't think that I would ever live there again. Music, I don't care for rap, or hip hop, country is okay (every once in a while). Good old fashion Rock N'Roll is me, along with classical, blues, jazz, new age, and even folk. Like you would believe the Kingston Trio? Yes, and yes even, the MaMa's & the PaPa's. Sad, but true, but this is me.
I feel like I have was placed on a shelve, for twenty years, and just left there. Now I would like to start to see if I will enjoy some of the things
that I used to.
I am not a woodsie gal. Camping to me would be, at least, on an air mattress. Love the woods, but age has something to do with getting up off the ground now. Imagine that! LOL! But I do injoy the outside, especially in fall taking walks and hiking. Or cuddling in front of a warm fire place when there is snow outside.
I have learned a very important lesson in my life. Now, I am not saying that I don't like the nice things in life, for that isn't true. But that isn't really what it is all about. I had that,....the huge custom built home,...but it was empty. The house had three huge beautiful bathrooms, not to mention the rest,... and it was sort of a joke. Had 2 Beautiful Labs and they even had there own bathrooms, LOL!! I was alone in that beautiful home, in Texas, for about 2 1/2 years which was built far out in the country on a hill with a 10 mile view. And that was it. Money isn't everything, helps, but is not everything. By the way I had to leave my wonderful puppies in Texas. Oh well, one day, I'll be able to have another pup.
As far as what I am looking for. I know that there is no one that is perfect, that is impossible. But,....I can get close. I am looking for someone who is honest, charming, sensitive, one who likes to get dress up (and one who does not live in tee shirts), loves to laugh,and is sentimental, enjoys a great glass or wine, and maybe a tad goofie.. I am a little goofiie at times and I like it that way. Looking for someone who I can share a life with.
It is the simple gifts in life that are the best. Like white chocolate and fresh raspberries in a small box would be heaven. Or how about a a hug, or a word of tenderness.
