A little bit about me. I moved to the US when I was 7. I left home when I was 16. After I finished college (Univ of Virginia) I moved to Serbia to work for a humanitarian organization, where I learned some Serbo-Croatian and travelled all over the Balkans, mostly by hitch-hiking and sometimes staying w/ locals met along life's path. I returned to NY after 2 yrs abroad (hey, someone had to pay back my student loans), and I had a variety of unconventional jobs. I'm still a travel-addict and dance-addict....Fortunately I'm self-employed & I can take a lot of time to travel (about 4 mos out of the yr). In spite of my unconventional, bohemian, gypsy-esque lifestyle, I am very driven and ambitious. I play hard and work hard. For some reason, I'm going through a period where it seems impossible to meet a guy the normal social way, so I'm curbing my pride and I'm posting this ad. I always thought internet dating was for the socially-inept. Either I've become one... or the pool of interesting, available guys has shrunk. Seems most ppl are already settled w/ a partner. I'm looking for someone who can do the little things... like nudge me when he sees something cool, offer me a bite of his dish if it's really good, or drop me a little surprise note in my pocket. I like someone who can co-contribute with little surprises  to keep things interesting, and in return I promise to meet u at least half-way.
