I live on Staten Island in my own home. I'm German / Irish.
I want to enjoy the companionship of a woman in all manner and form on an equal basis. At this point in my life I don’t want to be financial or emotional crutch. I'm sort of laid back and a bit shy………………maybe old fashioned is a better description if you consider the following:
•I am reserved and practice good manner at all times e.g. I prefer to kiss the back of a woman’s hand as opposed to shaking it. I hold door, hold the coat, walk on the outside, and seat her at the table in a restaurant.
•I’m caring and sensitive e.g. I bring or send flowers for no particular reason, cook and setup a candle light dinner on occasion, provide a massage when needed or desirable and kiss her neck for no apparent reason. I like to touch hands across the dinner table in restaurants and at home. I like a woman to hold my arm when walking public but do not like holding hands.
•I enjoy quiet restaurants serving quality food as opposed to loud chaotic establishments serving mediocre food.
•I am not cheap in any manner or form.
•I do not enjoy watching sports events so you will not find me in front of the TV for that purpose.
•I do enjoy educational programs e.g. History & Discovery Channel, CNN, etc. and I exhibit a moderately conservative view point on most matters.
•I like to undertake home improvement and gardening projects as a team effort e.g. painting, wall coverings and planting spring flowers.
•I like to entertain quality guests.
•I drink in moderation, usually red wine or Cognac. If I become intoxicated I become happy and sometimes silly. I rarely drink beer.
•I do not frequent bars except for business purposes.
•I can clean, wash clothes, iron and cook, although I prefer to dine out and let the cleaners do my shirts.
•I am in good health and in reasonably good shape.
