I'll keep this brief. I would much rather actually communicate with someone rather than judge them by the three sentence diatribe that is supposed to sum up their entire personality. It's just not possible. Suffice it to say that it is important that I connect with my partner on intellectual, emotional and physical levels as well. A good sense of humor is a must of course. I also need someone with a bit of culture. It seems that many people go through life with blinders on, staying in the comfort zone. I feel it's important to experience this reality in every facet, from every angle. The ability to understand the other person's plight and empathize is important. Otherwise it's easy to find yourself restricted to your tiny corner in the shallow end of the pool.
