When can you travel and see mystic places? See every baseball stadium in the country? Get to wear flip flops and tank tops in comfort...it is summertime! My favorite time of year. Where we can relax by a pool, get out and go hiking and camping, and even make smores by a fire. And then there is slow cooking ribs while playing bags in the back yard or disk golf until sunset. When it’s warmer and people all over are just happier, and the possibilities are endless!
I like to live life and still stop to smell the roses. Life will always have its ups and downs. We will never appreciate the ups if we never experience the downs. There is a quote in the movie The Crow "It can't rain all the time"! However, without the rain, we would never have this beautiful thing called life! I like to learn about everything. I go to wine tasting to learn about wine or stop and read plaques on buildings to learn what has happened there in the past. I like to try different restaurants to experience new foods. I will take different routes on the way home to see different neighborhoods (especially during Christmas time with all the houses lit up)! I will Google random questions that come up in conversation just to know new things.
I am the guy people choose to come to with their problems. I don't solve people’s problems, but I do help them solve their problems for themselves. I am a great son, brother, nephew, and uncle. I am always the first one to volunteer when someone needs help moving, home improvement projects, or needs a ride. There is an unwritten rule with homeowners. What goes around comes around. Well, I guess it is written now huh? I am currently working in Special Education while I continue my job search for a School Counselor position. Working with kids with special needs helps me realize how lucky my life really is. That motivates me to do even more to help improve their quality of life. I also coach activities during the school year which is a lot of fun as well.
So what do I do when I am not being active you ask? I like to read and have been hitting up the classics recently. The Count of Monte Cristo, A Tale of Two Cities, The Lord of the Rings…but enjoy Michael Crichton and Dan Brown as well. I like to watch movies (including foriegn ones in subtitles) and discuss what people think about them and see if they caught something I may have missed. I guess I like people with their own opinion.
So what do I want in a woman? I do like a somebody who will ask a good question. A lady who likes to learn new things and can teach me something I don’t know. She should know herself enough to know what she likes and dislikes. A woman who feels she is beautiful and not the opinions of others. I'd like a someone who is social, but not "the life of the party" kind of social. A woman who can laugh at herself when she trips up the stairs in public, but not laugh if it is someone else. She is an independent thinker and has her own ideas. She will be comfortable around other people and not be too self-conscious. I'm looking for a someone who is just as happy with a burger and a beer and she is with a steak and a wine. She can get past her adversities and is ready to start a new adventure. I know that trust is earned, but she should be willing to trust when it is.
