SUCCESS
by timothycg at 4/25/2013 5:19:19 PM

How do you measure success is it wealth, is it possessions or possibly the ability to overcome many obstacles in your life or is it the people in your life that support you emotionally and physically to give you purpose and self fulfillment or are core values the heart of your success that is measured.

So how is your success measured if you care to share?

Hi Tim I am going to say all of the above....Or should I say at one time or another we all had to over come obstacals.I dont find nothing wrong with feeling good about our acomplishments in life....May it wealth, the people in our lives [Having good friends] and to have those core values.Isnt that what we all stride for in life....Success comes in many ways...Just dont be cocky about it.....Have a good day Tim ....

Hola Timothy ...Nice blog I like it!!! Thinking about how far I've come in life. "There are three kinds of people in this world...ones that watch things happen, ones that make things happen, and ones that wonder what the hell just happened" Guess who I am..I am the one make anything good happen for me....

Getting myself together may be hard, but I know I am going to be proud of myself when I get to where I need to be.

Tim! I like to think, like Bella, that I can make my own success, but I like my friends there that when I am not feeling at my lowest to be there for me also. The rest will fall into place.

Success for me is more about overcoming obstacles and learning to choose happiness regardless of outside circumstances or influences

Stepping out of your comfort zone to make it your comfort zone. No costs.

years ago i had an idea of the man i wanted to become. i looked at my father as the mold of what a man should be. what he became in his later years was a man of great respect, pride and humility. when he walk in to a room the atmosphere seemed to change. the community elders would pause in their conversations to say" larry's here." it was not that he asked to stand out, but that he did so without trying. they respected him even though he was many years their junior. they trusted his judgement. i see this as the ideal that i hope i can strive for. if by the time i reach his age and can look back and say "i got close". than it was close enough to say that i succeeded. that my children will not need me to hold their hands as adults will be a success. that i may be remembered with good thoughts when i am gone will be a success. if i can find good fortune and be humble will be a success. to be the best version of the man i most admire will be a success. very interesting topic tim. thank you.
