Art

Well i have always been artistically inclined. I work on and off, and i must admit, i have not dedicated enough of my time to become a master of renown talent, however i find that passing the time while listing to classical music and sculpting is soothing, and serves as a much needed de-stressor.
I have worked with different mediums in my history of practicing art, such as oil base paint, acrylic paint, water colors, pastels, charcoal, steel, oil base and water base clay. out of the all of them the one i suck at most is sculpture with steel, like welding and such with torches, perhaps because i am at a rudimentary stage of learning purposeful instruction, I find the acetylene torch clumsy and excessive, definitely looking forward to using the plasma welder next semester.
and I dont like heavy metal with large gauges, ugh that is sooo unbearable, i would rather much prefer in the foundry to work with more malleable thiner materials such as copper or, pewter. and i would also like to learn different methods of metal work, such as bending, stretching, and hammering. i think then my artistic abilities would truly shine with welding, and foundry.
Other than that, i am pretty much good at what ever i set my mind to when it comes to art. while learning with neo classical instruction, i have embraced proper composition concerning the human form, and i love absolutely love working with live models. My taste for art has i think matured wayyy beyond what i ever thought it would be. To view the space around me, and see the dimensions and replicated them in real time in relation to spatial object placement, is very gratifying. i feel as though i have truly mastered the proper methods and mystic intuitive cannons derived by master artist when recreating the space and matter before me. So all these art classes i am taking, are really helping my base which is art history. i can really appreciate art because loving the beauty of art, and understanding the process of creating art are two different things. Both really help the critique process.
