My Christmas Wish List 2008
by torisdad at 12/1/2008 8:07:53 PM
Every year, I write a Christmas wish blog. So here goes!
For my daughter Tori, I wish that she continues to thrive. She is doing so well and has come to terms with her “weirdness” as I have. I wish the 8th graders on her academic team will start pulling their weight since the 7th graders are kicking butt!! I wish that her relationship with her mother improves. I know it hurts Tori that they don’t get along that well.
My friends Jason and Angela have had a tough year. I wish with all my heart that they find their way through these tough times. They have been very good for each other. Jason is my closest friend and I want him to have all the happiness in the world.
For my friend Betsy, I wish that she and Michael continue to grow their relationship. I have not seen her this happy before. I wish that her kids get their acts together. She has sacrificed so much for them, they need to start returning her love and respect.
Robin, I am so happy that you have found someone. My wish for you is that you and Mark have a wonderful wedding and that your lives are full of love and joy for the rest of your lives. You have such a wonderful caring heart, you deserve the happiness I believe you have found.
My Mom has had a knee replacement and another surgery on her other knee. She lost her job, wrongly. I wish that she starts healing better. Her progress has been slow. She has found a man that she shares so much in common, I wish that they continue to live their lives. They have both endured so much, their happiness has been a long time coming.
For Andrea, I wish that her kids stop torturing her. I know she has multiple health issues, I wish with all my heart they she starts to get better. I don’t know if any of her problems can get better, but I really hope they do. Right now, I don’t think there is a lot of happiness in her life, I wish that she finds some.
For Amy and Kerry, I hope that the momentum they have built lasts. These two have been through hell that we can’t imagine, but things have started to improve. I wish with all my heart that they weather this storm and come out victorious.
For all my other friends, I wish that they all have a life of happiness and lacking in strife. I hope that they all enjoy good health and that all my single friends find someone special to spend Christmas with. I hope they all weather this horrible financial crisis we all find ourselves in. I hope none of them lose their homes or jobs. On a larger scale, I wish that all crimes towards children come to an abrupt stop. I wish that any one committing such a crime gets a just punishment, not these weak “slap on the wrists” that judges are handing out. We must protect our children, this is my biggest wish of the year. I hope all of my friends, both the real world and virtual, know that I love all of you with all my heart and I am always a phone call away. Take care my friends and remember, have fun!!!
