An Older Woman Sure Knows How To
by knittinkitten at 3/15/2009 4:58:56 PM

Cure a Guy's Day Dreams....

This was sent to me by a friend. Author Unknown. Why should I "think one up" when this says it ALL...?

After being married for 48 years, I took a careful look at my wife one day and said, 'Honey, 48 years ago we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 24-year-old gal.

Now I have a $400,000.00 home, two Cadillacs, nice big bed and flat screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 71-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things.'

My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 24-year-old gal, and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa bed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.

Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve a mid-life crisis...

I kinda like being an "Older Woman".

It's baggage, that's really what it is. We've all got a little of that, one way or another.

luckylouie, I'm really interested to know what part of the above you do not think is funny? Actually, if you really want to delve into it, I think it's kinda sad that a husband would DARE to make a statement like that, to his wife of 48 years..... I guess that's why it's considered a "joke"...I think if a couple remained together for 48 years these days, they would probably be happy with both sides of the bargain. marchwhistler: I hear you....I consider my "baggage" to be what made me who I am today. And, I kinda like who I am.
