Friends are like balloons by suzydoll at 11/12/2009 6:30:34 AM Friends are like balloons; once you let them go, you might not get them back. Sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and problems that we may not even notice that we've let them fly away. Sometimes we are so caught up in who's right and who's wrong that we forget what's right and wrong.. Sometimes we just don't realize what real friendship means until it is too late. I don't want to let that happen so I'm going to tie you to my heart so I never lose you. I've been on DH for several years and have made so many wonderful friends here. Some of you have followed my blogs these many years and contributed comments that have been inspiring and uplifting not only to me but to others. I am thankful for all of you. Thank you for being in my life!!!

Through the years I have lost many for various reasons, but the ones in my life now are the forever kind and are meant to be here. I cherish them and thank the Lord for them every day. fenestra	11/13/2009 6:41:30 PM I've know my "oldest" friend since we were in 1st grade together. Many others who have drifted off like balloons weren't really my friends, just acquaintances; people who came into my life for a short while, made me a better person, and then left. Kinda like angels.
