Why do ppl have sideview profile pics but none head-on

I don't like that mess because every pic is a side view and just about anybody can have a good side but when they put a pic straight on it looks a mess and and and why u gotta tilt ya head back OR down.I mean does it do something for you.I wanna know u have a nice shaped head,symmetrical face,strong jawline,and well u know where I'm goin with this HELLO!!
