I really enjoy going hiking because its so peaceful when you're out there. There's no constant rush, no this needs to be done now, it's just you and nature. I also love to go horse back riding, dad and I used to ride all the time when I was younger. While I don't get to go as often as I would like anymore, I still love it. This might sound geeky as hell!! But I love to read science fiction/fantasy books. I can really lose myself in my books and they help me unwind after a long day. When the week is done I love to get a few friends together and go out to a local bar. I like local bars because the atmosphere is so relaxed, we can kick back have some drinks and really unwind after a long week. My sense of humour, is not necessarily good, in fact its very cynical and either you get or you don't. I believe humour is the answer to a lot of problems. Having the ability to laugh at a potentially serious situation can make things a whole lot better. Whenever something goes wrong, before I make amends to fix it, I take the time to laugh about it first. My friends say that I'm ambitious, personally I think that's an understatement. My drive is relentless, Once I set my mind on a goal I give it everything I have. I spent 6 years in law enforcement, after 6 years it want what I wanted to do with my life anymore. So I changed careers and now am in a place with unlimited opportunities that i love! I come from a family of public servants. Police, firefighters, and paramedics. So naturally I initially went into law enforcement, but after several years it wasn't what I wanted to be doing with my life. So just recently I left and started working in the oilfield doing spill containment. It's a lot of hard work, I have an amazing crew that I work with. We have way to much fun working together! I've just started out here but there is an unlimited potential to move up in the company and now I really enjoy the work that I do! I like a woman who is focused on her career, however, this doesn't mean I want a high powered business shark that talks about nothing but her job. Its important to have a balance! but its great being with an independent woman. I like women with a wicked sense of humour, a great sense of humour is common, but when a woman clicks with me by sharing a joke that other people might not always get, then thats a big turn on.
