Men

• The data shows the average size of a man’s penis in erect position varies in the range of 5 to 7 inches. In a relaxed state, the penis shrinks to between 3 to 5 inches. Measurement was also taken on the anomalies between the circumference of erect and flaccid penises. It’s found that a flaccid penis has an average circumference of 3.75 inches while an erect penis has an average circumference of 4.85 inches. On the other hand, the erectile increase in length is about 2.3 inches while the erectile increase in circumference is about 1.11 inches.
• The average size of testicles was 2 inches in length and 1.2 inches in diameter.
• Seminal alkalinity varied in between 7.0 to 8.0 (pH), which shows it’s alkaline, and sperm typically survived for 48 hours in a women’s body.
• On average, 300 to 500 million sperms are released on ejaculation.

• Measured along the posterior wall, the average vagina size is about 3 inches and its diameter is 0.8 inches. In stimulated phase, the vagina can be about 4 inches long and about 2.4 inches in diameter.

• The pH level of female reproductive organs varies in the range of 4.0 to 5.0 which shows it is fairly acidic.
• The length of the clitoris is around 1 inch.
• The ovary has average length of 1.5 inches and breadth of 0.75 inch.
• The bust size of US women has increased in recent decades due to the increased use of birth control pills and improved diet. Currently, the average bust size is 35.9 inches.
• Women have 400,000 ova which are released throughout their life.

In the same survey, it’s reported that 46% of black men and 13% of black women had 15 or more sexual partners in their lifetime and 17% of men and 10% of women had 2 or more sexual partners in the previous year.

In general, infidelity affected 80% of marriages and 16% of the respondents had cheated on their partners.

The percentage of men committing infidelity was 57%. The number of men who cheated on their wives was double the number of women who cheated on their husbands. Suggesting that women were more conservative.

34% of married couple had sex about 2 to 3 times in a week and 7% had sex more than 4 times in a week. Doctors advise couples to have sex at least once a week for women to stay healthy.

The Average Number of Married Couples Sexually Active before Marriage

The Guttmacher Institute data (1953 to 2003) showed that 95% of Americans had sex before marriage and more than two-third of couples admitted they lived together before marriage. It was also found that 50% of partners who lived together before marriage were likely to have a divorce.

One in three male suffered from PE (also known as premature ejaculation) and many of these men ejaculated during foreplay.

Average Number of Sexual Partners before Marriage

A national survey reported that teenage males had four or more sexual partners. This was higher than the number reported by teenager females.

35% of school students were sexually active and 47.8% had sexual intercourse.

16% of people in the US had sex before the age of 15 and 15% abstained until they reached 21 years of age. 6% of Blacks, 17% of Mexican-Americans, and 15% of non-Hispanic Whites abstained from sex until 21 years old or older.

The data also revealed that 84% of women sometimes used sex to get help in around the house, and the trend was assumed to be healthy.

Since people are responsible for their own sexual health and safety, medical experts advise people to practice safe sex to avoid sexually transmitted diseases. Even unprotected oral sex can result in a person contracting STDs.
