Obiviously, you would need the right market for anything you wanted to sell, but with you living in Texas already, it seems that you would be in prime market for the cow skulls to sell. Are they properly cleaned/bleached/treated before you paint them? I'm sure thats would be important. Another big factor would be the art. What are you painting onto them? Can you post a/some pic(s)? Heck you might want to even consider ebay....if you cant sell them where you are....reach out to the people!

well, most of the skulls i paint , have let them dry in the sun on my back fence of my yard. i come from a small town where there aren't a lot of people to talk about this with and i do appreciate the advise very much as i have never really thought about anything except making sure all the bugs and scorpions were cleared out. as for what i paint on them, it might sound kind of silly in explanation, but i pick up my paint brush and let my hand do what it will. there is no way for me to know what the end product will look like, again thanks for the advise. it is much appreciated.

I'd make sure to seal the paint on some how as well, one thing people look for is how long it will last, nobody wants a temporary painting.
