I met (who I thought at the time) was a very wonderful person. I thought things were going good and that we might have a future. Then he never called, answered my e-mails or phone calls. (You know who you are) I'm trying to think positive but it's hard sometimes.

I haven't found anyone to date on this site. I am also on match.com, but have only found three prospects in the past year. It's very sad. Most guys don't even respond to my e-mails. If they do, they've already found someone or they are "taking a break" from dating. Hmmmm.

I have met a few people and I am dating a guy that I met off here. We are drawn to dating sites because our lives have become so busy with work, school, kids, debts and life that we no longer have anytime to go out anymore. I also find it a lot safer to talk to someone online rather than going out cuz the last time I did, I met a guy that was seeing a girl but didnt tell me, and she found out and wanted to kick my ass.

I have gotten a few responses from men on this site - but them are not willing to share a picture. I know do to jobs people do not like to have their picture posted for all to see but if they are willing to send me a note, it would be nice if they would share a picture too.... ( I did notice most of the people who have posted as not getting a date do not have a picture posted) I do have to say I did get a nice man to talk to and we went out a few times until I found out he was married...He was/is a nice man -I just have an issue with married people also dating.... Does that answer any questions?

I've been on these sites for years, went out on a few first dates, ranging from lunch to full blown nights out on the town. I just didn't get the chemistry thing, all were a good time and what not, just doesn't click. It just sucks to email, IM or talk on the phone for a month then finally meet to find out it just doesn't click.
I was about to give up, then bam outta the blue Jen hit me up on here, we talked and chatted for a few weeks, then she came to Lin. to see me and go out boating. I think we both knew it the second we laid eyes on each other, felt totally comfortable with her, usually I'm a bit nervous, not this time. I can see us spending the rest of out lives together, I just wish she didn't live in Omaha or that I did lol.

I met a great lady on here and we went out several times. We made it clear and understood, it was strictly for friendship. I was just getting out of a fiancee' break-up where she didn't want to introduce me to her friends from E Harmony  so I called off the wedding.
anyway, the great lady from Lincoln was super and fun and after a few breakfasts and hockey matches, we went our separate ways. I will rememeber her for a long time!

Let me just say this to save yourself time and trouble.
Ask for a photo before you meet someone.
If someones not posting a pic then theres a problem.
Twice i have been pretty unhappy not asking for a pic.
It cant be you cant afford a camera.most computers have
web cams built in them now.so id prefer someone be upfront with me no surprises.

been on here awhile and haven't had much luck, had a lot of no reply back ones. have had a few reply and we'd contact back and forth for a while then it seamed they were to busy to really want to talk or they didn't want to get to gether and meet,or they found someone and weren't interested in chating anymore,and many would have you send a picture to them and then never hear back. i know theres some nice woman out there who are really looking for someone but haven't hit one yet.I just keep trying.

Well I can honestly say that this is the only site that i have actually gotten results with. I haven't had my profile up for very long and met someone imediately and we hit it off and are now seeing each other. I couldn't ask for a better man. So as of today I took my profile off the site.

You know it is all about the chemistry. We all want what we want. I have met a few gentlemen and it seems like we have a lot in common, seem to be able to talk easily and are both looking for the same thing. I may be interested and he may not and I think, why not, what was it, why not me?? But you just can't define it. It is what it is. I have had gentlemen who are attracted to me and I not them and I am sure they wonder the same thing. It certainly is not about looks, etc. But I know it would be nice to meet that "right one" and be able to enjoy life and quit searching.

I've met about 10 or so people from this site and another site like it. But of course you can guess how guys my age are. So most of the dates were disasters. Although I have gotten one relationship from one of the guys I met on here. Lasted a few months and that was it. But I keep coming back and trying again.

I hope i am not to late on this topic ! Let me share with you the facts . The reason is these sites are putting our profiles in different states and cities ! Most people have say they are looking for someone with in so many miles ! Right ? I have been on sites under friends profiles and found my profile saying i live in a different state ! Has this happened to anyone else ? Or the site e-mails you saying you have have a wink are whatever , so you go to that site to find out that person has not even been active in over a month ! Just a thought to ponder ! Most of these sites are connected to other sites , I think it is a scam to keep us spending our money ! I have been on dates some good some bad . I think we will all find what we are looking for if we just stop judging the other sex from our past relationships ! I hope i didnt bore anyone

I have actually dated several really great ladies from here and had wonderful times...Maybe dated is the wrong look to start with. We went out for coffee and dinner and hockey. Did some just really casual things and got to know each other. We both agreed we weren't what we were looking for. We still visit on here and have fun conversations.

I haven't been using this site too much, but I just moved back to Omaha after living for 10 years on the West Coast, and I've met 5 women in 4 weeks via other free dating sites (I'm not sure I can mention those sites here).
I'm really enjoying this success. Not all of these women are compatible with me for a relationship, but I don't think there have been any regrets.
