jjmactoo Lakeland, FL age: 54	Well done! I do very much agree about arrogance of humans who are so mislead about how to conduct their lives and they call themself Christian. Christ said to folllow him and we were the temple. The temple is written in our hearts. The is waht you will find in the Bible if you read it. L. Ron Hubbard works just as well for some and there are other motivational books all saying hte same things the Bible says. They cost more money. There is nothing more than the here and now for some. Hey if that works for them. If they have no leap of faith that is thiers to own. The question to my mind is what do these same men you quoted say sets men apart from animal then? What is it htat keeps us from just walking next door to hurt the kids there or the adults there? What would move men to want to protect those things through laws and not guns and every man for himself? What moves the men who are so visionary to not use all thier wisdom to reign over the men they are so superior to? It was Edison's comments that Salk was responding to in his comment about a little knowledge leads men to such arrogance as to actually deny the existance of God. It is not God who made the dogma. It was arrogant humans. In the Bible there is no mention of a place of punishment until the end of this system. Until you actually read and study the Bible you can not really know what it does say. Many people hear sound clips at some church or in some movie but have not actually read the book themself. The Bible makes no mention of a place of suffering after death. It does mention some final time when our world as we know it will be transformed into something else we can not imagine. At that time it says those who opposed God will be separated from Him. You will not find any mention in the Bible of any place to go when you die. It says you will rest in His memory until the final judgement. If each will listen to their heart they create their own dogma. We can conquer even death when we will listen.

A God (for the sake of a better word), A Creator, A Divine Intelligence, A Universal Law, An Energy, An Omnipotent Power, of 'infinate' Intelligence, does not recognize anything unlike itself. The 'God force' in the universe cannot be in two places at one time. This 'God energy' does not know how to be anything other than what it is. Man has created good and evil, right, wrong and judgment, the 'God force' in the universe does not care what you do with your free will. The 'God force' in the universe does not know how to judge. There is no judgement in all of its loving energy and divine intelligence. You were not born with fear, it was taught to you on purpose. You have been sold a lie for your entire life, about what is going on and who you really are...sleeping beauty is asleep remember?...and they don't want her to wake up...because if she did, all hell would break loose. jjmactoo Lakeland, FL age: 54	It says we will judge each other. That is the point. "If one person will stand to your defense all you do is forgiven" is what it was. No need to fear. There are millions of people here who have done just about everything. I for one am prepared to stand up for you even though I don't know what your life contains. I know what mine has. There really is nothing wrong with any of us. That is the bill of goods. What do the words in the image of God mean? That each of us is perfect in our own way. It is us and our perception that is flawed into believing one is at level with some and not with others. we make the rules of what we should look like and what we should be like. No one but us. Those who don't fit the popular idea of the day get relegated to be less than the rest of us. Who did the relegating? I don't buy into any of that. It is the Bible that set my mind free of it. The belief that there is good and evil is flawed even further. It is in the eye of the beholder. Each is trapped within the framwork of our own mind and experience. It is not just the Bible. It is the Tibetan Book of the Dead, Conversations with Plato, Nichse and others. The Kuran and still be written down to try to impose a limit to what we do to each other. It is my belief we can conquer death. That has nothing to do with "religion". I do believe the keys to conquering our physical death are in the Bible in the new and old testament. I don't believe it ever was meant to talk to us of some future prospect of moving on to somewhere else. I beleiev it was a how to for duimmies to reach the point death will end. As long as we spearate ourselves we can not live together. Living was the whole point of all the writings. Just one opinion. I respect yours.

queenofhearts61 Seymour, IN age: 61	I think that people are inherently good. I also think that wrongdoing goes against our nature. We are so often portrayed as evil and left to our own means will always do what is wrong. I differ with this idea too. If that were not so, instead of a small portion of humanity committing evil acts and a great great majority caring and doing kindness to others, would not be the norm. I do think we all have the capability of committing the most evil of acts if we allow ourselves to. But I think that most of us are able to allow the best of us come out in our everyday lives. I also think that in a normal person, that has not allowed their baser self take over, gets pleasure from doing what is right and misery from not doing what is wrong. I think so much of our society have grown up with movies and books that portray a group of people as always turning out to be the worst of humanity if left to their own means.

swcw25 Woonsocket, RI age: 48	So man created good & evil,wright & wrong & judgement. We are not born w/ fear it is taught for a purpose. OK....heres goes Nothing from just me,so obviously...lets just see,OK? Oh yeah I forgot,No God ok??? There are no words,names,descriptions,NOTHING,but I need to use words to explain my ??? so bear w/ me. BEAR WITH ME 2 humans exist different in form.They exist in a forest like place. Day 1-they wake,and feel something(thirst) they look for something to stop the uncomfortable thing they feel,find water,drink,the feeling is gone,they just walk, and walk and walk,new feeling,(hunger)they smell something pleasing,they pick an apple smell it then taste it,the old new feeling is gone(after a few apples).New feeling (tired)they stop walking,rest,walk,walk,walk,one of them cries out and looks down at what caused the new feeling(pain)they walk more and step over the things that caused pain(rocks)one of them urinates while walking never stops walking just peees.... not to get gross,we will move on to..... Day 2-they wake and feel(smell)something that makes them feel(sick),they thirst,find water ,fall in water,come out and dont feel sick from smell,(Bath)they eat,and walk and are faced w/ something coming towards them fast and not looking pleasing,(a bear)they run and hide behind a tree w/ a feeling(fear).That night they are resting and one gets bit by a spider,instinctively it hits the bug and the bug stops biting(kill)feel better not being bit. Day 3-blablabla they get a big stick in case they see the bear.They see it and kill it and feel better(safer).that night a much smaller (bear) wanders through,looking harmless,and lost.They feel safe and she feels something in her heart(a pang of ?)she welcomes the baby bear in her arms and feels something very(nice)in her heart & stomach. With or without God,the end result(TODAY)would be very similar to what it is now.NO MIND CONTROL....JUST Human Nature&Instincts! That is why I will say ever so Humbly & Proudly.... Thank God for Christianity!!!!!!! AMEN

If they all killed each other and lived without any instruction from the bible, why did humans keep multiplying. How did they live in groups and build cities. Jewish and christians were not always here, nor was a bible, so how did they know how to get along to live togather? SWCW find out a little about what you are using as reasoning. Cannot be backed up by history.

queenofhearts61 Seymour, IN age: 61	That is because men, the stronger physical being was in charge. The earliest religions worshiped the sun and moon and nature. They interacted with it all the time because it was in their lives daily. Man has always had a spiritual side that was communing with the Higher Power. If you live with that same nature away from civilization you too can commune. All I can say is Buddha experienced it when he withdrew from others. Confucius experienced it when he withdrew. And Jesus spent 40 days in the desert while communing with his maker. It is not with held from anyone who wants to take the time. It is enlightenment and it is something that changes one who has experienced it, forever.

swcw25 Woonsocket, RI age: 48	My reasonong is, just that,my reasonging.I put that out there because Jewelz says "everything" is or has been taught to us for a reason,mainly control.I disagree and believe that love,hate,good,evil,happy,sad,fear,confidence,is just human nature and I showed examples how it evolved or at least started w/out a God. I had hoped my little analogy would have explained how all the things that some say are taught to us for mind control are in "fact" Human nature & Instincts. Im thinking that worship and different practices and beliefs came along w/time and world elements. They wake,thirst,go to water,theres no more,none for days,it rains,they have water,drink,thirst is gone,they feel satisfied & a new feeling..grateful...grateful towards the cloud who sent water. no???

ironranger Owatonna, MN age: 40	everyone knows that men have always been ruled by women... women have the right stuff. earlier religions based on nature probably existed because of lack of knowledge - people simply didnt understand nature like people do today. knowledge of history does not bring enlightenment or truth or proof....... i think sw was trying to make the point that fear is an instinct people have and were born with and not created by humans - although some humans probably use others' fear to their advantage.

swcw25 Woonsocket, RI age: 48	The point im trying to make(thanks "you")is that most Everything that Jewelz claims is taught for mind control,is not Initially brought into this world for that Purpose. What we are taught fear,trust,love,hate,hurt,embrace etc..certain things/people/occurances/ started out in "the beginning"as surviving being human,common sense and such just comes naturally and its human nature to be Satisfied. Unfortunately,(perhaps)even if theres only 2 humans on earth,theres going to be love,anger,(one is selfish,wont share apples)trust,fear,(big bear can hurt them,baby bear does not) jealousy(I want to be like him and not bleed all over myself at times)judgement(she is stupid it took her 2 days to make it and me only 1 day) resentment(he enjoys(sex)more than me)....Human Nature not Brainwashing Does this make any sense to anyone?????
