It is hard to be single again at first and alone but you get use to it. If you were heart broken because the divorce I wouldn't suggest dating right away only because you need time to heal and you don't want to use someone to get over the pain. That is just my opinion.

I'd be lying if I said I don't hurt but I don't want to date or use somebody to get over the pain.. I just want a physical relationship.. but worry people think I'm a pig for that or something...

Why don't you just say your horny? I really don't think you want to hold hands and cuddle. Are you trying to play all innocent? Just come out and say "I JUST WANT MY D!CK SUCKED", now that should get you the attention your looking for.

We all crave being physically close to the opposite sex, unless your gay. Just because we get divorced does not mean we lose those feelings.

Good luck. I have been divorced almost 10 years and have found that women do not want "Broken" by divorce men. They want someone who they do not have to fix.

Oh, I have also found very, very, very few want sex without a relationship.

I'm seriously depressed! Online dating is 95% fake and I work too much to find time to go out! I feel exactly like the guy from Utah.

Completely agree! Being in your 30's and single is awful lol. Guys our age want young girls. Young guys contact us for "experience." Old guys think it's ok to contact us because we are desparate?? I don't get it. I want someone close to my age as well but it doesn't seem to be out there. To make it even worse....I'm tall lol.

Yep us "OLD GUYS" get tossed aside by younger women and women our age. Guess you need to take us out back and shoot us.

I like to cuddle (not always hold hands because I have Panic Disorder, & my hands get sweaty, but I'm kinda there, too.

I've been sleeping on my couch for 2 weeks now while my wife avoids me & goes out. We've been together for 13 years, & part of me has wanted to hold her and feel her...just to know the feeling when I leave.

It's killing me, & I talk to people on here, & I've made a few friends, but I know at the same time that if I get with someone else, I'll just be thinking about my wife.

Life hurts bad at times, & time seems to be the only way to fix it...I'm just not very patient.

First off I am not bashing you but you talk about old guys hitting on you so I look at your profile. It says you are 37, ok fine then I look at your age limits and it says 38-26, so I guess it is ok for an old woman to hit on young men but not ok for old men to hit on young women? Kinda seems like a double standard to me. I have never tried to contact you as you are to far away from me. I am just wondering why the double standard?

I haven't used that approach (pickygirl) I'm not sure that would work... I'll take it into consideration. It's a real b*tch to find someone willing to get tangled up just for the fun of it... AND be a good person... in my case, it seems the really good girls, the really bad ones, and the ones in between all have signed some sort of pact to leave me frustrated and wondering what's wrong with me! LOL Damn, life's a b*tch.

I'm sure men are not the only one's having the dilemma of the need for a physical relationship to mend SOME of the wounds or to at least provide needed distraction for a time...

Just so you know.... I have NO PROBLEM being used to scratch that itch! LOL

Yes, I used to have a higher age preference. Mistakenly, I thought lowering it would somehow filter the people who could view me. I like to date no younger than 29 actually and try to stay under 40. Yes, I prefer to date guys in their 30's. I look much younger than I am and I'm an active girl. I just like to hang out with younger people. I've been single for quite some time and know what I like. It's not a crime.
You say you have never contacted me because I live too far away. I wouldn't answer because you are 17 years older than I am....come on. I NEVER contact a younger guy but I will answer them if I think we have enough in common. There have been many times I have replied that someone was too young for me. I have dated a guy that was 44 and we got along ok. My last boyfriend was 29, we dated for quite some time and we are still great friends. I won't turn down a guy for being 44 but 54...that's what I get contacting me. I just don't want to feel like I'm dating my father. Sorry.

I was not asking for a date, just to get things in order. I was going by your profile and what you were fussing about. It is a double standard, it does not matter to me because like I said you are to far away but don't fuss about something that you are doing also. If you just want to go out with young guys that is fine but don't fuss because some man older than you wants to go out with someone younger, it is the same thing. That is all I am saying. Good luck, may you find what you are looking for.

I am new here so it's wierd for me to be open with strangers but i'll do my best..I married the love of my life and had two buitful kid's but after 16 yr's and some problems it ended. I've been devorsed for 4 yr's and I'm really sure I'm ready to meet new ladys. But I'm odd and I would like to get to know people first.sure I could just be a slut but that would defeat why I'm here.I am seeking what people call true love.I"ve seen alot of the same people over and over agen saying this and that and stuff but I'm not into one night stans for me talking ,getting to know someone first is (I think) the best way to go..is a mounth or two of chatting to long befor meeting?

ok one or two questions for you ...you say you are still with your wife, right?why are you here?I only ask because I dont understand why people stay with or even get with someone when they really dont love the one they're with and really want someone or something other then what they have....so why do you stay and why are you here and why are you looking for someone new,if you are looking...??

It would be nice to get back into dating kind of slow and easy. Maybe a walk at a state park with a picnic? Discuss things in common. Maybe there is no pressure maybe it's just awkward a while.

I am so broken by divorce, not because i am missing my wife, but it is because of my kids. They are my everything and to not be there is killing me. Besides that, i really do miss the affection, kissing, etc. i am a very passionate, and romantic person. I hats the thought of starting over from step 1 again...8-(

Everybody handles it in a different way. I know this much in order to see the future you have to let go of the past. Everyone deserves happiness.
