In the last year I have went on two dates. Both of them seemed like they went really well. The first one was so good a second date was planned that day . We rode my motorcycle, stopping numerous time to talk about everything from fishing to kids. I had a great time and from her actions I think she did too. She even kept my riding glasses stating she would need them tomorrow when I picked her up. Only to get a text the next day saying "I had a great time but I'm not ready to see anyone right now." I'm a simple person when it comes to things like this, so I really didn't know what to think. But I honored her wishes and left her alone. We have a friend in common and about once a month this friend will say can she(name withheld) have your number again. She wants to talk to you but nothing ever comes of it.
The second date I have went on I really have no idea what happened. After talking on the phone for a few weeks we finally met for dinner. She says thing like I make her laugh like no other, and you have the cutest eye ever. I compliment her also. At one point in the evening she is laughing so hard she is crying. After we eat we go outside to talk and listen to some music. This goes on for an hour or so, now we are both about 60 miles from home and have to work the next day. At 9:30 I say its getting late and need to be heading home, she agrees but niether one of us want to leave. At around 10 she asked for a hug so we can part ways. I give her a hug but I don't think that was enough. So we hug again this time the moment seemed right for a kiss. She must have been thinking the same as me because there was no objections to the first kiss and she started a second one. She left saying she would call me when she got home, but that didin't happen. I called and left a message for her with no reply. That was the last time I talked to her. No text, no voicemail, no message through a friend. Again I'm confused by a woman actions after a first date.
Can someone provide some insight as to what I did wrong? I don't like making the same mistake more than once and twice is even worse.

Sorry, but...sounds like you did the "your more like my brother" type of thing, and there can be many reasons for it...yea, we're nuts :/

your not doing anything wrong. they change their minds later for who knows what reason. guys can do same thing. have a great date and then pooof. have no idea whats up.
should ask for your riding glasses back or send her a bill. or...can threaten to take her to small claims court for stolen property. that will get her attention.lol
