I've had corn and king snakes for several years now. Kings are a bit more independant while captive bred corn snakes are more personable. Corn snakes live in the same type of climate that we do so it's not necessary to provide any additional heating or cooling. If you're comfortable then they are as well. Daily handling is essential when the snakes are young if you want a great pet. Make sure that they have a water bowl large enough for them to get in and soak. If you have any other questions then feel free to drop me a message.

I also have 2 corn snakes. There great..They don't like fast movements, they will strike.Yes you should hold then every day.My snakes like things that they can clime up like stikes and things like that. They like to hide so i put a cave in there for them.Mine don't really like me to mess with there head.I have a heater under the cage and i put the cave on top of it because they like heat. I keep mine at about 80 to 85 degrees.Got clamps for the cage because even thow there little they can find a way out.

Feed frozen (unthawed), not live. It is not cruel for the mouse, and no danger for the snake to get bit.
Also feed in a place other than the main aquarium (or whatever you have them in) and they are also less likely to bite, because they won't assume your hand means food is coming.
