Just wondering. It seems everything upsets them

You aren't always going to be aware of who is and isn't an atheist when you are casually interacting with people daily. For instance, was the checker at the grocery store an atheist the last time you were in? Was he or she belligerent or angry?

As far as this forum is concerned, there is still the occasional bout of heckling and taunting that erupts from time to time. I notice most of the more conscientious forumites will abandon the thread when that happens because their remarks are destined to become buried in a sort of quagmire of pointless bickering. It isn't limited to the atheists but those who don't align themselves with any particular god and others who refuse acknowledgment of any form of deity that falls outside of the rigidly imposed limitations that have been established within fundamentalist Christian doctrine. For me personally, if Kb doesn't mention tapeworm in one of his posts for a couple days, all is well.

Why are atheist so angry all the time?


Because we got no paid religious holidays.

Atheists and the rest of the world are not different.

The aching inside from the lost loves and lost relations and death and forever lost opportunities and relationships makes an empty spot. And you can't drink enough or distract yourself enough or f**k enough or busy the hands enough to fill it.

And strangely , the promise that religion makes ALMOST fills that spot, and you must defend and rationalize those religious beliefs to the most ridiculous ends to cover up the fact that it really doesn't make the empty go away..........

Human psyche and human needs do not discriminate between the faithful and the unbeliever.
It is the kindness and compassion of others, if we allow it in, that makes us able to bear those empty places.

And that's why we post on silly internet forums......

I wasn't referring to your statement but yes, she's very incoherent, irrational, delusional and perhaps thought disordered spewing word salad. She needs to see a specialist for help.

Very Rarely, some atheists over the internet are honest and more understanding, and are actually willing to have a real conversation with others who are religious. Those kind usually (not always, you know) become agnostic, and may become religious sometime afterwards.
