My age group is self explanatory. I would like to see a group for people by age brackets to discuss dating. Where would you kiss the person's butt above?,What is your favorite breakfast cereal?,Who was the fattest president?, do not even come close to dating discussions. My age group seems to have the attention span of a classroom full of 5th graders. A few people have tried to put topics on the forum more suited for our age and situations, only to be told that people are too tired or too burned out to think. I like to think I am 47 not 17-intellectually. The forums are cool but it would be refreshing to hear from people my own age. I don't have anything against childrens' games for children, it just that in a group of people my age, it seems hopeless. Like I said, there are a few men/women in my age group that are very intelligent and don't seem too bothered to read and offer positive feedback. Anybody my age feel the same, or am I being too "stuffy"?

are you meaning that you're not finding 40's related dating discussions in either the "40's" group, or the "sex and dating" or "relationships" forums?

notfit, i've never even browsed or lurked in the 40's group.
i do know that in the 50's group, there is a mix of dating, relationship and other age-related issues--as well as joke threads, music and video threads, silly ones and friendship ones, (happy birthday and prayers for illness, etc).
a lot of members put sincere effort into creating a variety of threads and trying to keep it fresh and non-stagnant in that particular group, i feel.
also, as the other poster suggested, browse the groups menu or the overall forums menu for sites where special interests are discussed.

I have peeked into your group, layla. It seems to be very well-rounded. You have a good group of folks there. Maybe I am just being too grouchy. Besides, I do know who the fattest president was!
