Hi Z
So sorry to hear you are having problems - it is so mading -
I had similiar problems a while back and after shelling out a lot of money on so called experts - no results - bad experts lol
I went to the official microsoft website and downloaded the program I was running -
For me it is Windows microsoft xp - windows internet exployer 7 (7 is the newest)
After running the download I have not had any more problems --
My son had same problems, this time I ran the download instead of calling the so called experts and he is running just fine now also.
It is worth a try - cannot hurt you and you will not lose anything.
NO NOT DELETE ANYTHING BEFORE RUNNING THIS PROGRAM
The program will adjust to and add any updates that are necessary for your particular computer.
Here is the website - just follow the download instructions - good luck and let me know - ok
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/ie/default.mspx
After successfully installing this program "defrag" your computer --- real easy - if you don't know how let me know and I will show you were to go to do this

Go into the control panel and selct add/remove programs.
Remove MyWebSearch. It's not needed. You might need to reinstall it to get it to uninstall.
Get Spybot Search and Destroy also.

as jamisOn said, try that, you definitely have some spy ware problems, and they can be tricky to get rid of, they usually install them selves, go look through add/remove programs for any suspicious programs that you dont remember installing, do some searches on anything you dont remember installing and maybe you can find a way to un install them again , there are no easy cures for spyware but if you can find out which one you have you can find out a way to get rid of it

Have you tried system restore? I alwasy use it first before I do anything drastic! if some of your settings got changed somehow it will resore all of your settings to an earlier time when your computer was working correctly. You go into the programs mode and look for accessories, then chose system restore and there should be a calender in there and you can chose a day to go to when your computer was working correctly. Chose that and let the computer shut down. I have used it many times when someone else (or my daughter) changed settings and screwed things up for me. If that does not work you may have to take it in and have it looked at.

Systems Restore --- BEWARE!!!!
Know that you will lose everything you have put into your computer AFTER the "systems restore" date. Should only be used if no other way or if you do not mind losing a lot of your data. Of course there is always the slim chance that you have not stored anything after the "systems restore" date --- but that would be rare as that date usually goes back to when you first bought the computer or shortly thereafter. Oh I forgot - I put in the calendar my own date but the computer chose to use the date it wanted to and not the one I put in, soooooooooo just be aware and be careful.
Good Luck
God Bless - Rainbows filled with luvs hugs joy and laughter

TO make sure that you're virus protection has in fact taken care of your problems try this....Right click on MY computer and choose properties. Click on the System restore tab and place a check mark in the Turn off System restore.
Shut down the computer and the when you go to push the power button immediately start tapping the F8 key or it may be F10 regardless if you get to windows you've gone too far. You're going to get to a screen after pressing the F key upon booting that states Safe Mode Safe Mode with Networking and so on. The idea here is that 99.9999 percent of viruses, browser hijacks and so on embed themselves in your system32 files and launch when you first start windows. Booting in safe mode keeps these "Extra" apps from loading and helps software to Identify them.
Next "while in safe mode with networking" go to this site: http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/
Find the icon labeled house call. This is pretty much industry standard for us that frequently work on computers. It will prompt you a few times to choose to allow directx and blah blah blah always choose yes and install until it sends you to a page that asks you what you want to scan for. Choose Malware and spyware and also make sure you scan your entire system not an individual folder. This will take some time. Some cases 30 min and others 4 hours.
IF House call finds something choose the delete option. If you find anything aside from cookies make sure you click the plus button in the what it found area so you can see what file may be infected.
After completing all of this you will be sure that you have removed any threats that may be existing on your computer.
Hope this helps!

lose everything you have put into your computer AFTER the "systems restore" date. Should only be used if no other way or if you do not mind losing a lot of your data.
.........................................................................
I must take note with the statement, posted above.
When I do a system restore to an earlier date, I have only removed PROGRAMS,
or registry changes that I have installed.
I have never lost e-mail, or documents...photos,
or anything important...
however I did rid the machine of some of the problems.
Works sometimes, and other times you need to be more aggressive.
Be Well,
