Hey Everyone..... I think most of you know of my daughter PATTY, who has spina bifida. I have entered her in a contest to be my local Kidspo Cover Kid for our local newspaper. If she wins she will be on the cover of the magazine and win some prizes, which includes a gift certificate that can help me get her some of the specail things she needs. With her hard life, I think that this will be something she enjoys.( you can tell by the pictures she is a big ol' ham anyways, lol) The winner is by votes. Anyone who could take the time to go to the website and vote for her would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you SOOOOOOOOO much in advance!!!

A big part of it is to get attention about spina bifida and as far as I know she's the only child on there with a disability like that. Unless some miracle cure is found Patty will never be able to do a lot of the things the rest of us take for granted.
It's something we can do to help with so little effort.
Jokersgirl did say in another forum that the paper wants to do an article on Patty anyway and maybe her getting as many votes as she has helped then to make that decision.
And she's closing in on 2nd place

Sorry to hear about your daughters disabilities. I know smoking isn't cheap, and its bad for your health and others around you. Maybe you should man up. There's probably some other things you could do besides looking for that free ride. I don't have kids of my own, but I have two nieces. Kids are so precious and innocent. I don't mean to judge but no one is perfect. I will keep you guys in my prayers. Very cute kid.

I put my vote in for Patty. She was about 8.95% of the votes when I voted. She had two other kids ahead of her. One had about 11%, the other had about 16%. She needs double what she has right now, so GO VOTE FOR HER. She's a cute kid and needs the support. Help her and her family out.

SD you crack me up. Too bad about the couple of di**less jerks earlier. It's ok, the universe has a wonderful way of balancing itself out...it's called karma. I have three (thank God) healthy boys and I sure am glad to see men with compassion stepping up and doing such a wonderful thing that only requires the smallest of effort. I heard about this on another forum and have and will be voting everyday.
