There are many useful Internet sources that can help you choose a replacement battery. Freshbattery.com is easy to use and helps you identify which type of battery you need. Similarly, Best Buy has an online battery-finding tool. Navigate your browser to www.bestbuy.com, select Laptops from the Computers drop-down menu, and then click Battery Finder near the bottom of the page to begin using this service.

Check batteriesplus.com too.. They're local in most areas, well, at least I have one local.
On another note.. I had a user who needed a new battery a couple weeks ago and Dell had them listed for $299. I wrote my rep for a quote (I don't pay retail) and she said that there are NO discounts on batteries right now. There is a shortage. So I called Batteries Plus, $141.
