Hi folks,
This just came to my mind, just a little scarey.
There is a little girl who always sees the same single gentleman in church. She is the cutiest little girl with an absolutly cute babyish lisp. She always says, " Hi mr. Showns (JONES), hoow are uoow. Just the cutiest.
One day she asked Mr Jones, "Mr showns, wi our uoo allwaz alwone"? Mr Jones smiled and said, " darling, it is because I am widowed". Baby doll then asked, "Iz dat wat being made smaller is wike"? Mr. Jones smiled and said,"Exactly, my dear".
Then again, we do still live, don't we. Just a little widdowair, for a while.
Hope you liked that.

That was cute.
Please Lord teach
us to laugh again
but God,
Don't ever let us
Forget that we cried."

Sarah,
Thanks for the comment. We all need some air, between us and all the stuff from time to time.

My grand daughter who is 6 yrs old, doesn't understand the concept of death is permanent and asked me one day after my husband died "How is Dave, I know he was sick?" (She called him Dave) It took me by surprise and I answered her with this statement: Dave is just fine and he has finally gotten his angel wings and is your guardian angel now. She just said that she was glad he was feeling better and she was happy to have a guardian angel just for her.

I have a 9 year old neice and one day after my husband passed away, her and her mom were planting trees in their yard, they were small pine trees..my sister told her that they were planting them in memory of Kenny, my husband. My neice looked at her and said; "Because they were small?" (My husband wasn't very tall!!) I thought it was cute..
The things that kids say..!! Had to smile on that one..
