We are here, it's just that a lot of women act like that they are not really interested in meeting someone and then cry about being alone. Try taking down your defences and talking to someone sometime. You let so many of us great guys go just because you are a little scared to talk to us or you judge us on how we look or act. It's not easy for us to just write you on the cold, but we do. Hopeing that you just might take the time to talk to us. Try to see it from our side. We are suppose to be the one chaseing after you and after a while we can get run down and hurt by all of the rejections. So we quit trying so much and then we get "slapped" by the comment you made with this topic.

It is funny the girls are thinking the same about the men. I have emailed many a man, and only to find they are not interested in meeting and getting to know the real me. They either want to just talk sex, or they stop writing back abruptly and not letting you know why, or write back they are already seeing someone, yet you find they frequent the line often. I am fortunate at this time to have found the possible Mr. Right. It is early in the relationship, but I am hopeful and thankful for him. It is difficult to find someone that is honest, faithful and willing to share a fulfilling relationship. Keep contacting them, they are out there.

From this view, being male, There are guys looking for women everywhere. Look at this site. We all know that we are a minority of people looking for companions. Lots of people don't like dating sites. After 4 months or so I understand why. One sends out notes and generally won't get a response at all, not even a polite no thanks. A few respond with little jabs that seem funny, one replies and finds no further response indicating it wasn't a jab, but an insult. A few respond, spend a couple emails chatting, then disappear, with out explaination, everything is good then gone. A few get as far as meeting, some are serious and meet for coffee, dutch, others want the guy to buy them a meal. Of the half dozen I have meet One looked something like her picture and was a nice person. But odds said no chem. The rest were generally 30 to 60 lbs heavier than their pictures, and probably 10 years older than their pictures. The dishonesty is disheartening. Makes most decent people flee. But unless you want to hang out at bars or go church shopping, what can you do.
It appears this is a problem for most here not just one sex or the other. Is that true?
I have decided to respond to all incoming mail, even if it is a polite no thank you. And as far as meeting someone it's a crap shoot. May we all gain some good luck.
