I've been on both sides of this issue and they both have good and bad. If you are inlucky enough to find one that after a number of years doesn't wish to that anymore You are really up a creek.

is feeling inferior and worthless, especially when belonging to a singles online site and STILL can't get a date or anyone interested enough to go beyond IM chatting!

I'd have to say if your all sad for not having anyone, then it's time to just ask someone for coffee or something? Even if it is the same sex just to go out with someone that is single to just meet up with some others that are single for coffee or a drink to just going for a long walk
Or you maybe will just be sitting home again

I agree some day are tougher than others when there is no one to share even the little things with. I would love to have someone besides my dog and kids to be with, not that I don't love'em but it would be nice to meet a nice man who can love me for who I am.

Thats a great idea, I am hoping to meet female friends on here as well, no worries here! my gate only swings one way gals! lol but I would like to make some friends to hang out with and chat with. Since I moved back to Rochester it seems all my friends are still into the bar scenes and I'm not anymore...once in a while its great, but I don't want to live in a bar anymore. It's hard to meet people in this town!
