There are a few good rollers around somewhat simple to use. I think they still make the kind that allows a person to make filtered cigs. Most smoke shops would have something,Wal-Greens has had them and still might. You'll find one I'm sure and you can get menthal or non. And when I do it's mostly by hand. Old habits die hard.

Nan, I used a CTC Supermatic machine and it cost about $30 a couple of years ago. Single Stick tobacco and Zig-Zag pre-made filtered papers worked best. Check out you Smoke Shops.
I now smoke Seneca cigs and they are close to Camel Lights as I can get. I pay $37 for 3 cartons at the Indian Reservation.

I just bought a Premier Supermatic machine...it's a lil pricey ($50) but you can roll either reg. or 100's with it...I can get about 2 cartons worth of tobacco for $15 & 500 filtered rolling tubes for about $6...it's a helluva lot cheaper than paying $30 for sucky generic smokes & since it is kind of a pain to roll your own...I've found that I've cut down a little on my smoking. I live close to Dallas so everything is expensive...when I went to Abilene, my smoking supplies were considerably cheaper (averaged about $7.00 a carton). Hope this helps...

I'm gonna have to look into this, and do it, provided I can include a filter that is. Damn price of cigarettes is killing my budget.
Of course, I could always just stop smoking....................on second thought - uh - NO!

Hey Newlife... When you go to the tobacco shop, look for the Zen brand of filtered rolling tubes...from my experience, they're pretty much the cheapest brand & they come in 100's, too...

Thanks Metu - I happen to smoke filtered hundreds and Tim prefers unfiltered kings.
We tried the cheapie cheap brands of cigarettes and neither of us can really stand them so we are into a mid-priced brand, but even that is $35 a carton. Unfortunately I am a heavy smoker.............

Went to the tobacco shop today and picked up a Top-o-matic rolling machine, 2 lbs of tobacco, two boxes of 200 each filter tubes and a hand rolling machine (for Tim as he smokes non-filters) all for about $70. That is two cartons of what we have been smoking.
Just sitting here now, rolling away lol.
Thanks Metu, your suggestions are gonna save us a fortune!

2 lbs of tobacco = approx. 4 cartons of smokes...I roll every day instead of doing it all at once...keeps my smoking to a minimum....pain in the ass!

Thanks also. I'm working on quiting but most likey I'll die with one in my mouth or hand maybe both. It's time to make some kind of change. Too bad panhandling is against the law most places. Thanks for the subject and answers.
And by the way any smoke shop or is there a national chain

I roll my own. I buy the light or menthol filtered tubes, a box of 200 for about 4 bucks, I get a 6 oz bag of menthol tobacco for about 6 bucks and I have a machine that dose one at a time. So it's totally cheaper to roll my own especially living in the northeast where the cost of cigarettes are more than 5 bucks a pack.
I too find I smoke less since rolling my own.
