I have to go with the person on the inside, sounds cheezy but true, I have dated bigger women and loved my time with them, I have dated "beautiful" women and have wanted punch them in the throat after 5 min. The size of the girl makes or should make no difference. Pretty people often become ugly when they open their mouths and curvy women are often overlooked. I say let the inner beauty come through and F 'em if they don't like the outside wrapper.

of course every man will say skinny but its not looks that truly make someone ugly....i look for a connection (yes somewhat on a physical level, i wont lie) but mostly onn a personality level. Do you like the same things, can we hold a decent conversation with out getting into some heated argument or ending up with nothing to say, do we have the same or similar ideals, etc.... things like that....i dont care a whole lot about looks if there's a deeper connection

Heavier women tend to have nicer skin, prettier faces, bigger boobs, and they tend to be nicer, and more giving. Apologies if this is too graphic for this forum … I like the way slightly overweight women feel in bed.
The problem I have with dating heavier women is that they are not physically able to keep up. I don’t spend all of my leisure time climbing mountains or running, but I couldn’t relate to someone who doesn’t understand the joy of those things. There are too many times when I might be walking somewhere, and see stairs that need to be climbed, just to see what’s at the top. I’d be held back by someone who isn’t in decent physical condition.
Also, since I am looking for a long-term relationship, I fear that health issues are more likely to come up sooner, rather than later. (This is also a thought I have about smokers).
Maybe I shouldn’t have answered this question. I try not to hurt anyone’s feelings or offend anyone, but I’m sure I have.
I occasionally hear fat women say that there are lots of men that like fat women. I think that is a slight exaggeration, but I can tell you for sure that there are more than a few lovers of the large.

I look at the who the woman is inside. I have dated both skinny and larger women. But as the previous post pointed out, I could not be happy with a woman that could not ride a bicycle 10-15 miles (I do much more at times, but for typical leisure rides that is fair), or climb camelback mountain the long way (up one side, down the other, walk back around to the car.) and such things. Those are the just sample of things I enjoy doing, and would expect to share with someone I am with. I would be willing to assist someone in getting up to that point. My ex-wife claimed to enjoy those things, but after I bought her a bicycle, she rode it once and never touched it again, and the one time we tried to hike (up a much easier hill then camelback) it was one non-stop whine b*tch and complain to the point that I just turned around in disgust and we went back to the car. I never asked her again to do those things, but found in the end that I was getting to do them either because she would not. (I probably would not be so nice now days, would just go do them and she could sit at home alone).
So a bit overweight, even fat....no problem if your willing to work at doing physical things. I will go slow. But no couch potatoes for me (skinny or fat).

I do hear that a lot too but personally, I have not found a lot of men who like the bigger women. There are some girls out there who are on the bigger side who find that kinda man everywhere. I don't get it. I don't mind what size you are, but I have to be attracted to someone. I look more on the inside. I wish more men would think the way I do, but some men are shallow (and so are some woman).
