hi, so your really from Yuma eh?
I grew up here, then after junior college took off on a journey that eventually led me back to Yuma to stay for good. That was just two years ago.
In between I attended Arizona State University, lived in a fraternity for three years and forgot to go to class a lot! Then I went to broadcasting school and eventually started out on what would be a 20 year career in it. I finally finished my degree at the University of Arizona.
I also served in the Army in the Military Police Corps, one of my better decisions in life!
I moved back to Yuma to help out my Mom after my Dad died. I'm semi-retired, which means when I find the right new thing for me again, I'll dive into it head first. Until then I'm actually on disability for some health issues.
But I am overall very healthy and like to walk, play tennis, bowl, go for Sunday drives etc. I'm also an excellent listener and communicator, plus highly organized!
Yup, I'm one of those!
The biggest thing I'm proud of though, was that I became a born-again Christian about a year ago, after taking naps at the Catholic mass for most of my life. I now attend a small, non-denominational church.
And that's about it for me. I lead a pretty quiet life, mainly because I like to keep my 87 year old Mom company, as much as I can. She's a great lady! But someday I'd like to get out again and go to the lake etc.
