What's your average speed from when your first start a conversation with someone you meet online to the point you meet in person? This question does not apply to intimate encounters.

Average speed for me is Stupid. I have been known to break three asinine comments per minute. Luckily, here in Arizona, the speed limit is five asinine comments per minute.
Seriously, I’ve been curious about the same thing.
I don’t have that much experience though, because of the 25 or so initial contacts I have made, I have only met one, and one other said she wasn’t interested.
So, for the one that I met in person, we exchanged e-mail addresses at about the fourth message, I sent about 5 e-mails, each one being about 5 paragraphs, for a total of about 1,200 words (including the messages on DH). Her responses were much shorter, at about 700 words total. We met about three weeks after first contact.

Average speed... that is a good question! I have only met a few guys on here and that happened at different times. I would have to say all of the meetings I've gone to were after a few exchanges of emails then a long conversation or two on the phone and then scheduling issues getting worked out. Most of them were after about 2-3 weeks of talking but I did meet a gentleman after about a week from the initial contact. I guess the best answer for this question is when you and they feel comfortable with the idea of meeting. Unfortunately alot of people on here either aren't wanting to meet or are here to make a bed buddy connection or find a new wife or husband without putting the effort into getting to know the other person.
