ok i think this is ok to put in this group if not let it fall or be removed.

my intent is not to be negative to anyones beliefs. now i have this thought about religion and racsism. they can kinda be put into the same catagory IMO due to the fact that every ones veiws are different and some dont want to associate with the other . well in a sense classifing one or more religions away from another would be a form of segragation i think.but some religions will not accept others for they are different and not of the same pratice. in some cases only there idea is right in there eyes but wouldnt it be better world if religion was looked at as people trying to acheive the same goal of ones lifes ideas and accepted. multiracial society were every one is equal due to differnce and in a perfect world we get along due to the fact we are all different , which makes us the same so should apply towards religion right? idk if others would agree with me but what are every one elses thoughts on this?

So just have one Group for religions? That would be fine with me. I daresay the majority (at this moment) of
users are Christians, so we might have many of our topics attacked, but I probably worry too much.

the most violent and racist illegal alien invaders of all time are the europeans who follow the judeo/christian religious cult. this large cult is really just the final incarnation of the roman empire, which explains their behavior. the current genocide taking place in palastine is just a continuation of the genocide that began in 1492.

That is beyond me! I think the worst time/crime in history, besides Nazi Germany, was the era of the Inquisition,
when thousands of women (and animals) were tortured and burned as witches.

Ever heard of pluralism? You are expressing some thoughts that sound like you may arrpreciate the concept/movement, I started a thread on it if you are so inclined: https://DateHookup.dating/Thread-164216.htm

I see religion as being ego on a grand scale, crushing the spirit.. and stagnation is worse then death to me! I think each path contains a nugget of truth, truths I like to collect.. but the divisive lines drawn between us all saddens me greatly. I think it's only a matter of time before we real-ize that we are all one, but then.. I'm a dreamer like that, lol....

Part of the reason I follow no formal denomination is that I have moved to the inner circle of several denominations. I found with those which I was part of preached one thing but when it came to the leadership it was classicism and racism. If you got down to it it didn't matter who you were it. It was how much you were worth and what they could get out of you

Any group that passes judgement on others could be considered racist, biggoted, etc. I have to agree that it is nothing more than a big ego trip. Upon the occasion that one is able to talk to a religious person in a non threatening way, it is typically discovered that the person is into the religion out of a feeling of self weakness. When a persons ego is weakened, in most cases classification and divisiveness follow, so as to bolster the ego. Even if it is false confidence.

True religion - No

False religion - can be

People seem to have a hard time with what God says in general. True religion comes from God, but seeing what most people have done with it I can understand the confusion.

God being no respector of persons i.e. all are his children and equally loved, some of his kids still have a lot of growing up to do spiritually.

Being racist can be discribed many ways, what I think is the least intelligent thing about it is skin color doesn't endow you with anything but a different look. Anything else is just projection on the part of the other person.

And as the Arby's commericals have taught us - Different is good.

Thanks for reading.

Yeah, I've found that exact problem in pretty much every church I've attended for a while and I've been to many. I've done Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Conservative Baptist, Southern Baptist, American Baptist, Pentecostal (Open Bible), LDS, Jewish-Christianity, and a non-denominational church. (not in that particular order.) Heck, I've even seen that sort of classism, if not racism, in the UU churches. I think that's why I follow UU principles way more than I go to fellowship.

I'm sure there are great churches out there. I'm not looking for one now. Nature is my church. Life is my church. People are my church. Service is my church. Love is my church. Need I more?

That being said, I do want a temple building someday, but only as a place to hold community gatherings and to go and make personal offerings, prayers, etc. The only ones with special privileges in that sort of temple are the priests, priestesses and acolytes, and that's only because they have special duties and responsibilities.

Namaste,

Daniel
