I race a Nascar weekly division track in Wisc. Lacrosse fairgrounds speedway, and am in a Nascar pool. wow, have things changed. can't keep up with the silly season stuff this year. Anybody here if Bobby Labonte is going to drive the 96 car this year? One of many puzzle pieces I'm trying to fit together before I make my picks

Hey you should drop by nascar.com.. as there are MANY of changes this year. even talking about dropping 3 races... their are drivers changing up teams, sponsorships pulling out that have been around for years and alot of independent drivers, starting up their own teams now... Good reading thats for sure. Looking forward to the new season, but they better not drop any more Races or I am gonna be pissed. LOL anyways drop by nascar.com, they also have forums and fantasy racing teams and you can even listen to the Drivers in their cars communicating with their teams while Racing... Its the Bomb!!! any Racing Fan should for sure check it out... Its AMAZING!!!

Wondering how Stewart will fair now that he's got his own team... Mark Martin needs a championship so he can retire, and Dale JR needs to win a race..

I was lucky to get to ride in an actual race car on Talladega when I lived in Alabama.. (just recently moved to Texas). I lived within a 20 - 30 min. drive of Talladega.

My son won a virtual reality video game contest (had to beat Jeff Gordon to win) and could bring 4 guests for a day at the track and rides. Granted we were only doing around 120 - 140 mph. but, even the centrifugal force on the body at those speeds around the turns was I loved it! They took us for several laps. Was able to meet and talk with several of the drivers.

I've always followed NASCAR...but, gained a new elevation of respect for the Drivers after the trek around the track.
