Anyone have an iPhone? I think they are awesome. Definitely the best phone I have ever had. The internet is pretty slow, unless you are on WiFi, but you can still surf pretty good. I check out DH on it sometimes.

They are definitely super-cool, but I feel that they are still over priced. Considering that I have no legitimate need for one right now, I can't justify the expense. In other words, I can think of better things to spend my money on right now, but I'm glad you like yours.

i feel for the people that lost out on that 200 dollar price lowering. Also i understand it doesnt have all the features of a regular phone, and it cant handle flash sites?

It is missing some features for sure, but I am sure they will fix that over the coming months. It can't do flash, no. Also it doesn't have a file browser, so you can't take a photo on your iPhone and then post it on say DH. That is super lame.
Overall though it is still awesome and much better than any other phone I've ever had.

Is it better for the price though?
I feel like you bought a sports car that looks really good and drives fast, but has no radio or air conditioning and you cant have those things installed.

It's worth it if you use your phone a decent amount or like to use the internet when on the go. Comes in handy. It is not ideal if you text a lot as the keyboard is not very good. It is also not ideal if you would be using it for business purposes, like a Blackberry. The lack of a keyboard hurts in sending emails and text messages.
If you are on the fence, I would wait until the next generation version comes out. It will no doubt have faster internet and fix all the problems with the first version. I would expect a new version within 6-9 months.

I played with one at the Apple store and think they are pretty cool. the one drawback is AT&T is not my cell provider.... my son was very excited, and about the new iPod as well.
Supposedly they are coming out with a tablet PC that works the same as the iPhone interface, this winter.
Desktop computing for fun is quickly being replaced. You can do most stuff on game consoles now using your internet connection and TV.
My brother has a Wii and it is too much fun. It does the internet as well.

I just bought an iPhone, and I also got an iPod, and and iBook, and all the iJunk that goes with them. Then, I had to go to iKea and get an iRack to store all my iCrap. But, the iRack turned out to be very expensive and does not seem to be stable, so I may have to pull all my iCrap out of the iRack. Now, I'm sorry I ever messed with iRack.

Alas, every time I try to be original, somebody else thinks of the same thing.
