Welcome Barbara, I don't have a greenhouse but want one and maybe next year will be able to put one together. There are a couple of threads on here where people have some really nice greenhouses. Lots of good info also and a great place to ask gardening questions. Good luck with the growing...

Hello, no greenhouse, though would love one. Our climate is fairly mild, and even tender plants can do well against
a wall on sunny side of house or garden wall. I enjoy landscaping, collect plants from nurseries on trips all over
California and love to make little "rooms" outside to sit and just relax and read. Welcome to a fun group!

Hey, thanks for responding. I feel the same as most of you, when it comes to having serenity, peace of mind, and the enjoyment my yard. I really love the out doors. Another hobby of mine is making a personalized potted plants;then give it to the "new neighbor" as a welcome gift. Oh, I also get a kick out of going to nurseries at(K-Mart, and Lowes). I rescue the discarded, and dried out plants. It gives me pleasure nurturing them and watching them thrive and come back to life.

Just a little tender love and care, is all they need.

It's raining cats and dogs, in North Carolina, but, is it the right time to put down turf builder for my grass? Or should I wait alittle longer?

I enjoy gardening and I'm from New York.Don't have a green house yet. This is the best time to start working the ground where ever you want to start. If you have any save leaves around the house now is the time to start fixing your fertilizing.I recommend you buy some moist dirt from your local gardener.

No greenhouse here, either.
I have, however, acquired a couple of shower doors so in the Spring I am going to plant my gourds a little bit earlier and at night make a tent with the doors.

At least it sounds good in theory.
