Movie time with my kids on the couch, popcorn, peanut M&Ms, and a 2 year old that will actually snuggle with me, falling asleep on my lap. That was my date Monday night. hehe

Most nights it is total chaos here. But Monday night, the kids got to stay up late because they didn't have school Tuesday. My older 2 were getting along and my toddler actually stayed still, snuggling on my lap. It was the best night I have had in a long while.

I got stood up on a date so I took my 9 year old son to Red Robin restaurant and told him that he was my date. He said "Geez mom" but he was very much a gentleman ... next time McDonald's ... his kind of place

Totally the best dates I have is with my daughter also.
We go out to eat her choice of place then we rent some movies or go to the movies and maybe a little girl shopping.
We have a good time and laugh a lot.

My daughter and I sitting together in the big easy chair with a blanket over us watching Discovery or National Explorer channel discussing what we are watching. Some of the best dates I have had in a very long time.

My 5 yr old son is really into Christmas this year. He really wanted those big balloon yard decorations. So I bought two a couple weeks ago, and he has been bugging me to put them up. Well yesterday we put them up and to see the smile on his face made it worth every penny and every bit of effort that went into them. We have a 8' Santa Claus, and an 8' Christamas tree. We went to the store, and when we came home he went up to the santa and hugged it. It made me just stand there and smile. Who knew that something so simple could bring so much joy to a child. So my best date was spending the time with him putting up the yard balloons.

Sitting with my grandchildren just talking. And seeing their faces light up. I have 2 three year olds and an 7 year old. My 7 y.old skinned her first deer yesterday. yea She loved every minute of it

Best date...hmmmm...I would have to say the one that stands out was we were going to spend the day riding in the desert. It started to rain hard, so we just stayed at her house. It was a first date. Niether of us were dressed to do anything exciting, so we went to the mall and walked around learning each others tastes, and returned to her house. Her 3 kids came home and we all just kicked back and made one another laugh. It was midnight before I left...it was awesome.
