AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
OK... now that I got that out.... I had the opportunity to go to a concert that I really wanted to go to, but couldn't because it was a last minute invite and I didn't have anyone to sit with the kids.

I'm sorry you couldn't go and I know how you feel. I don't know anyone here enough to have them watch my son. I am already having a problem figuring out where to put my son when his daycare closes the day after Thanksgiving and the day before Christmas for I have to work those days. His father moved out of state so I don't see any help from him on this either.

i know what you mean - when my daughter was younger I had no one to ever watch her so I didnt go out, and if on that rare occasion I could it had to be well planned in advance. 4 dates in 12 years!!!!!
Here's to all of us!!!

Check you local colleges or high schools, many times there is a list of kids that want babysitting jobs. They ususally have been trained in CPR, First aid etc.I had to do that even when I was with my ex, we lived a long way from family.
